Counselling & Support for Life’s Turning Points

Life moves in cycles. Some are soft as moss; others arrive like wildfire sweeping through everything you thought was certain. My counselling practice offers a calm, steady place to sit with whatever season you’re in—to sort through the tender, tangled, or transforming parts of your inner world. We honour your pace and let meaning surface in its own time, through conversation, reflection, nature, or words on a page. You don’t have to hold it all by yourself.

How I Support Clients

Grief & Loss

When someone or something beloved dies or moves out of your life, the shift is complex and painful. Counselling can offer a soft light to help you find the next steps, even when the path is unclear.

Life Transitions

Beginnings, endings, and the long liminal spaces in between. When life shifts, I walk with you gently into what’s emerging, holding space for uncertainty, grief, hope, and new possibilities.

Relationships & Communication

Sometimes our closest relationships become the spaces where our old patterns call the shots. Together we explore what’s hidden, untangle the knots, and practice ways of relating that feel more honest, calm, and connected.

Intimacy & Sexuality

I offer a warm, affirming, and non-judgmental space to explore intimacy, sexuality, desire, identity, and relationship concerns with curiosity, compassion, and openness. I approach this work from a kink- and consensual non-monogamy-affirming lens.

Creative Expression & Expressive Writing

For creative or curious souls whose inner world shapes the outer work — we use writing, reflection, and conversation to loosen blocks, release inner pressure, and reconnect with your voice. This work is appropriate for all levels of creative and writing experience. Learn more about expressive writing here.

Spiritual & Nature-Based Support

If you long for connection to earth, ritual, meaning, or slow ceremony — I offer walk-and-talk, nature-informed support, rooted in compassion and inclusive of diverse beliefs.

My practice rests on compassion, curiosity, and deep listening. I walk alongside you — not directing, but accompanying. In sessions we might have: gentle, grounding conversation; expressive writing or journaling; nature-inspired practices; mindfulness; practical tools for self-care and emotional well-being.

You set the pace. You hold the lead. My role is to offer support, to co-create safe space, and to guide reflection — so you find clarity, inner strength, and deeper connection to yourself and your values.

Techniques I Draw From

My approach to therapy is integrative, which means I draw from different therapeutic approaches depending on who you are, what you’re experiencing, and what feels most helpful to you. My work is informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, expressive writing, and Gottman-informed relationship therapy, with an emphasis on curiosity, cultural humility, compassion, and collaboration. Together, we might explore the stories and patterns shaping your life, make space for difficult emotions, reconnect with your values, develop practical ways of responding to challenges, and strengthen your relationships with yourself and others. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I aim to meet you where you are and shape our work around your needs, strengths, identities, and goals.

My practice is 2SLGBTQIA+ affirming.
